Diane Messier lives on a fam in the Eastern Townships near the U.S. border with her daughter Sarah and her two sisters, Carmen and Julie. Following a tragic accident, Diane does not overcome grief and develops paranoia. She feels threatened constantly, fiercely protects her territory and even believes her house is haunted by het late father, René, who died a few months earlier. Alerted by her daughters Carmen and Julie, Angèle, who lives in Florida, worries and returns to comfort Diane and bring the family clan back together.
