The story of Aristides de Sousa Mendes, Portuguese Consul in Bordeaux who refused to obey the orders of Salazar and delivered Visas to 10 000 Jewish persons, artists, political men and unknown people. He was dismissed and became poor. In 1966 he was rehabilitated by Portuguese Authorities.
