It’s a movie, a bit thriller, interesting and original. Despite the violence of the squalid setting of the Roman suburbs devastated by crime, the screenplay is beautiful for this delicate film. The beautiful photography stands out for the warm lights and the very well balanced and highly emotional colors of the dark.
The school is over. Walter, a 13-year-old boy, has just lost his father. As he wanders aimlessly along the Roman coast, a fascinating and mysterious place attracts his attention: an unattended villa overlooking a big, swimming pool. The villa, however, seems to be unguarded and Walter is thus prompted to begin an unforgettable journey.
