Filemon (Jun Jun Quintana) is challenged as an intelligent outcast. His mother, Pina (Tessie Tomas), is bound by grief and looking after him. Bertha (Meryll Soriano), his admirer, is determined to win his affection. The place where they communicate with the outside world, an internet café, is managed by Maritess (Alessandra de Rossi), left by her mom, now working overseas, and stuck with her grandfather, Lolo Ume (Lou Veloso), who is bound by his old age. The characters all seek a kinetic life within the static coastal town of Mauban, Province of Quezon. Philippines.
