When a nurse discovers that her partner is the father of a new-born twin, she decides to steal the baby girl and separate her from her brother, who subsequently grows up in a street gang. Ten years later, however, the children’s paths cross. They are attracted to each other but ultimately discover that neither of them is able to escape their past.
