Luis is an astrophysicist who studies the so-called “zone of avoidance", a hidden region in the galaxy. He tries to find something that gives substance to his hopes of finding order in the chaos. To avoid his, he leads an orderly and routine life, full of strange cleaning rituals with which he prevents his most unspeakable wishes from coming true. In his life there only seems to be room for his work and for Angela, the woman he loves and with whom he shares his life. Everything changes the day that some new neighbors decide to buy the apartment next door and move in with Iris, his little daughter. She is a smiling and joyful girl who loves ballet. Despite all his efforts, his systematic routines, Luis can't help but fall in love with her. Knowing the danger she poses, he fights to keep his desires contained, but everything he tries to control those emotions is futile: the more he fights to keep them at bay, the more the life he has worked so hard to build crumbles. Slowly, each of the pillars on which he remained afloat will sink, starting with Angela, whom he cannot stop loving. Not even the psychologist he turns to is willing to help him. All the mechanisms that he was creating since he witnessed the death of his youthful love become innocuous in the naive presence of Iris, and any hold crumbles in his hands. Luis will be immersed in a descent into his personal hell in which everything seems to lead him to make the most terrible of decisions…
