After the death of his wife after a long illness, Joaquín decides to leave the city and seek refuge in the small town where he was born. At seventy-five years old andloneliness as his true and only life partner, all he has to do is wait for his turn. Poli, his best friend in town, refuses to let him fall into his own abandonment: he makes a list of the "free" women in town to meet them. Joaquin thinks he is crazy and rejects his proposal.
