IT company executive Yuma Nakahara (Takenouchi) lives only for his work. Out of the blue he receives news of the death of his estranged friend, Kouhei. Kouhei had been Yuma’s lifelong buddy – and at one time a rival. But for various reasons they had gone their separate ways and Yuma had been unaware of Kouhei’s declining health.Throughout his life, Kouhei had nurtured a passion, oneshared by the people of his hometown of Shinminato. And so Yuma heads to the historic harbour settlement to fulfill a promise made to his deceased friend.
