After being hit by a rock while making a speech, Japan’s most unpopular prime minister wakes up in hospital suffering from memory loss. However, he hides the amnesia from those around him and getting back to business sets about making changes to the country.

Keisuke Kuroda (Nakai) wakes up in a hospital bed and is unable to remember who he is. Sneaking out of the hospital, he happens to see the television news which reveals him as Japan’s prime minister, albeit with the lowest-ever approval rating. It turns out that his memory loss is the result of being hit by a rock when making a speech. When he arrives at his official residence the only people who know of his amnesia are his three secretaries and he even hides it from his wife (Ishida). But now he must get back to business and begins to think about making changes to his country.
