At her new company Narumi Momose (Takahata) is reunited with her childhood friend Hirotaka Nifuji (Yamazaki). Hirotaka is a good-looking and competent businessman but he is also an extreme gaming otaku while Narumi is a closet fujoshi. Narumi feels that Hirotaka is the only person she can be herself with and, after Hirotaka suggests that she might be comfortable with an otaku boyfriend, they begin a relationship. However, their romance soon runs into unexpected challenges.
