Three members of a university mystery club, one of which is also a private detective, take a field trip into the mountains. A day after their arrival a murder is committed in the very inn where they are staying.

Yuzuru Hamura (Kamiki) is a student and as a fan of mystery novels joins his university’s Mystery Club. The club is led by Kyosuke Akechi (Nakamura) and also has a couple of veteran members including Hiruko Kenzaki (Hamabe) who just happens to be a private detective. All three attend a summer camp and arrive at a Shinjinso pension high up in the mountains. After their first night in the mountains, they discover there’s been a murder at the inn.
