Two Japanese police detectives from different eras connect via an old police radio in order to solve cold cases. However, their latest challenge forces them up against corruption in their own police force.

It is Tokyo in 2021 and a car carrying a high-ranking government official falls off the freeway resulting in his death. Kento Saegusa (Sakaguchi), a member of the Cold Cases Unit, suspects the accident is a set-up. Meanwhile, in 2009 two parliamentary officials are killed in a succession of fatal car crashes. While the police write them off as accidents, Takeshi Oyama (Kitamura) is the only one convinced of foul play. The old radio connecting the pair begins to buzz once more and this time the two dedicated officers are forced up against corruption on their own patch: the police force.
