8-year-old schoolboy Keat (Bai) enjoys thrilling tales told by his fisherman father. His favourite is that of a mysterious-looking creature which sneaks into their quiet fishing village as people lay in slumber and devours their nightmares. When Keat’s father is tragically lost at sea, the youngster enlists the help of his two best friends and sets off in search of the mythical creature in the hope it will help bring his father back.
