Eleven-year-old Tung (Leung) is an illegal immigrant who, since a young age, has passed his days in the Ladies Market. Abandoned by his father, he was taken in by shirt vendor Fai (Dick Liu) who treats him like a son. Although he pretends to go to school, Tung spends his days exploring Fai’s warehouse and one day finds a young girl there who has been kidnapped by gangsters. At the same time, truck driver Pui-yi (Annie Liu) and an undercover cop get caught up in a diamond theft and, while trying to escape, they come across the two children. As their lives intertwine, Tung gets a semblance of having a family which he has been yearning for.
