Yuji Takanashi (Hasegawa) is a university professor who can’t swim. He is even afraid of the feel of water on his face. Regardless of making awkward justifications to himself about the relationship between water and people, he decides on the spur of the moment to join a swimming class. Despite his last-minute hesitation, swimming teacher Shizuka Usuhara (Ayase) quickly enrolls him and reluctantly Yuji joins a group of four cheerful housewives.From that day it is one step forward and one step back for Shizuka, who finds life in the water easier than life on land, and Yuji, whose fear of water makes him a constant disturbance in class.
