In the murky half-light, race pigeon 043 has finally returned after seven years. 043 wasn’t the only one that went missing seven years ago; the other was Ching’s (Yu) son, Shih, whose disappearance remains an irreparable wound in his father’s heart. The family’s barely maintained peace is shattered by 043’s return whilst at the same time Ching’s daughter, Lulu (Rimong), brings rough diamond Tig (Hu) into to the family home. Helping train his pigeons, Tig grows on Ching but there are dark clouds on the horizon.
