Chun-woo (Go), a sergeant who is soon to be discharged from military duty, comes across a winning lottery ticket. But his heart bursting excitement does not last long as a gust of wind blows the slip of paper across the border into the Demilitarised Zone. There, North Korean soldier Yong-ho (Lee), picks it up. A ticket from the 6/45, the name of South Korea’s national lottery, it is winner to a 5.7 billion won prize. Desperate to reclaim his fortune, Chun-woo sneaks into the DMZ in search of the winning slip of paper where he comes across Yong-ho who is trying to work out how he can cash in on this unexpected windfall.
