It's only a couple weeks before Halloween and high-school senior Mary Eldritch is working hard as a food delivery driver to save for college. But after a routine takeout dropoff goes bad, she discovers her reclusive old neighbor is dead—and that night, Mary and her friends begin getting tormented by a terrifying entity. At first they think maybe it's the ghost of the old man out for revenge, but then they uncover a secret from the man's past and discover the thing tormenting them is an ancient Irish demon known as Crom Cruach. Soon they find themselves delving deep into the lore and legends of Halloween. Desperately, they throw together a plan to vanquish the creature, but with Halloween just around the corner time is running out, and Mary's own secret past may let the monster haunt her forever...
