In 1980s, the best ‘Go’ player Hun-hyun maintains his undefeated record sweeping every championship. One day in the amateur contest, Hun-hyun comes across untrained, but gifted young boy Chang-ho, and takes in the boy to raise him as a professional player. While Chang-ho grows up fast under Hun-hyun’s harsh training, a conflict arises between them as Chang-ho goes against Hun-hyun’s teaching, and finally threatens the master’s championship with his own style. The pupil who must surpass his mater, and the master who must stop his pupil, their unavoidable match is about to begin.
