Silvia and Mario enjoy a bourgeois life in Montevideo, until two events disrupt their peaceful life. A dog surgery that goes wrong and a robbery will drag them from paranoia to violence and from violence to nonsense.

Mario and Silvia are typical Montevidean middle class couple, going through the trauma of retirement. Mario commits an oversight in what was to be one of his last operations and causes the death of a small dog. Shortly after, Mario and Silvia find that thieves have entered their house. They have no choice but to go and stay at their daughter's house, where they will enter a spiral of insecurity and paranoia that will drag them to a bloody end.
