Synopsis

After the death of his father, Alejandro (19)
embarks on a journey to visit his mother,
who is confined in a rural Colombian mental
asylum, with whom he has had no contact
for 15 years since her internment. Guided by
the need to have a maternal figure in his life
and believing that she was unjustly locked
away, Alejandro kidnaps his schizophrenic
mother, determined to bring her back home.
