Synopsis

This is the story of a boy whose dreams and nightmares led him to be one of the greatest exponents of theater and visual art today. His way of approaching the images of the unconscious and the power of his visual poetry have marked the life and creation of Philippe Genty. He delved into Freud's work, analyzing his dreams and shaping his artistic vision around them. His exploration birthed a unique form of visual theater, revolutionizing the stage's relationship with visual arts. Despite a cerebral-vascular accident in 2011, Philippe's creativity persists, though communicating his artistic vision to his company became challenging. Now, at 83, secluded in Brittany, Philippe's inner world thrives through his daily actions, drawings, and dream Story Boards.
