Montenegro does not believe in friendship. He lives alone on an island with his dogs as sole companions. He has a neighbor named Cesar, who raises pigs. They exchange small favors, one shares his boat to go fishing, the other one cooks. Their relationship seems to be based on mutual need and benefit. But a conflict among them shatters this delicate balance.
