Florbela Espanca is one of the most important portuguese poets of the 20th century. It is the year 1925, Lisbon. Florbela divorces her second husband and falls desperately in love with Mário Lage. Her family does not approve of another wedding. Two years later she receives a letter from her beloved brother Apeles, inviting her to spend a couple of days in Lisbon. Florbela finally gets the chance to heal old wounds and return to the city she adores. But to return to the place where you were once happy might bring some unwanted consequences, and a journey of reconciliation might turn into a journey of a lifetime.
