A translator and a writer whose values have always contradicted with the cultural fabric of the government, and whose works have never been cleared for publication, relocates from the capital city to the forested and mountainous village of his birthplace, to a humble house that is close to being drowned as the river floods and advances. His stay at this house and the writing of his new novel mark the beginning of a new battle for his and his family’s survival against the river and the oppressive rule.
