Paco (Tomás Fonzi) is a Quantum Physicist. He is in a temporary jail, he was found by police in the Buenos Aires conurbation in a state of paco overdose. Paco is the latest and most lethal drug, a residue left after cooking cocaine in urban kitchens. He has been accused of blowing one of those kitchens with very powerful explosives, where people that was working there died and so did many innocent victims. His mother (Esther Goris), a prominent Senator in Congress, whose political career is on the rise, finds herself trapped in a terrible nightmare after that relentless and drastic moment. Her only child is accused of being a terrorist and the media implies that he is involved in a war between drug dealers. That is why Ingrid will pass him as an addict to put him in a prestigious rehab center. There, Paco will meet Nina (Norma Aleandro) who will help him unravel his past. Paco narrates the brutal story of the mental suburbs of drug addiction and its dark consequences in Argentina, and, at the same time, portrays the luminous and irreversible impulse of life to renew itself.
