Synopsis

At the beginning of the 1900s, Eduardo Scarpetta,
neapolitan actor and playwright, has become the most
successful Italian comedian of his times, all his plays
are a box office hit, theater is his kingdom.
The great Toni Servillo portrays Scarpetta’s extraordinary
talent and charisma, diving into his unconventional
family relationships and depicting the rise and fall of
a unique character, from the creation of his timeless
classics theatre plays to the memorable trial with the
magniloquent poet Gabriele D’Annunzio.
