Captain Dalberto quit his job as a police officer and bought a boat when he met Anaíra, a woman who exhales life through her entire being. The newlywed couple moves in with Dalberto’s two close brothers. At first, the situation is harmonious, but everything changes when the captain goes on a journey from Brazil to Iquitos, Peru. Dalmo, the older brother, fights to control the passion he feels for his brother’s wife. But Anaíra, feeling abandoned, becomes close to Armando, the younger brother, and the two have an affair. Dalberto’s return puts the three men – now completely in love with the same woman – under one roof.
