Holly suffers a terrible childhood trauma where her father and sister are murdered unexplainably at the hands of her mother. Years later, Holly is living in a distant new country, with a husband chasing fame on the back of the book that he wrote about her. The trauma of her past is brought hurtling into the present when she is persuadedto attend a meeting of a secretive cult with a charismatic leader known as the “dream surfer”.Written and directed by Evrenol and co-written by Cem Özuduru, Housewife stars Clémentine Poidatz (Mars) as Holly, and David Sakurai (Liza The Fox Fairy) as the leader of the secretive cult.
