Chile, 1986. Ricardo Palma Salamanca, “El Negro”, was part of Manuel Rodríguez Patriotic Front, an armed movement opposed to Pinochet’s dictatorship. Responsible for the death of a former police colonel as well as senator Jaime Guzmán, Palma was serving a life sentence when he escaped the Maximum Security Prison in 1996, becoming for more than 20 years, Chile’s most wanted fugitive, until he was captured in Paris by the Interpol in February 2018. His sisters and mother, who have only received a letter from him, speak for the very first time as they unwrap secrets and try to unveil his mysteries.
