Elias, a young fisherman who lives with his wife Margot; He tries to persuade her to leave the palafito village in which they live, tired of not getting their source of income. Faced with the woman's refusal, the fisherman leaves the village in search of a better future; But the presence of a subversive group evicts the villagers by committing a massacre in the place. Upon hearing the news, Elias returns and goes mad clinging to the memories of his missing wife; But the strength of the music and its tenacity will restore hope to the place.
