After his mother passes away, Rein (27) disappears into the Alps to be alone within nature and to work as a snowboard instructor. A few months later, his father Gijs (55) comes to check on him. As they head onto the ski slopes together, Rein is increasingly frustrated with his father’s dominance and his own inability to stand up for himself. To regain control, he drags Gijs into the mountainous back country, with disastrous consequences…
