The Finnish ski team learns about Toivo and his strong, rare type O- blood, that's compatible with everyone. With this secret weapon they can improve any athlete’s performance. Aino, hope of the national ski team, works closely with him, to reach the top of world rankings. However, a disaster occur, that jeopardizes everything. Toivo struggles with the ethics of doping, but is he a patriotic man? Although all of the characters are fictional the film is based on true events.
