Take a noir-inspired and surreal trip through L.A. as Max, a failed writer, prepares to leave the city where her dreams died. A small-time drug dealer to make ends meet, Max tries to unload a large quantity of drugs she stole before leaving town to care for her ailing mother. Along the way, she seeks to make amends with her estranged ex-girlfriend, all the while evading samurai sword-wielding and badass female assassins hot on her heels. She also might have her dead sister in the trunk of her car.
