Graziele (19) was raised by her grandparents on a small island in Brazil. Her grandfather served as pastor in the church she attended throughout her childhood. However, in her adolescence, when she came out as a lesbian, she felt expelled by the religious community and distanced herself. She decides to immigrate to Argentina to live with her sister and brother-in-law, Diego (50), who will make a documentary about her life. Living together presents difficult challenges. The documentarian’s mother expresses her opinions about the course she thinks the documentary should take. Diego begins to consider his mother’s ideas as he observes Graziele and her family’s story which leads him to inquire about his own origin. He discovers that his conception was a solution to family issues that couldn’t be resolved otherwise. Diego’s body begins to show physical signs of deep pains within his soul. With the arrival of the pandemic and strict quarantine, the documentary quickly becomes a family project and a possible pathway to healing
