This dark humour dramedy takes a singular look at loneliness and the desire to die, through the meeting of two marginal teenagers who long to find their place in the world. The film folllows SASHA, a young vampire who is incapable of biting after a childhood trauma that caused the internal blockage of her canines, and PAUL, a 16-year-old who’s always felt attracted by the void. When Sasha sees Paul as he is about to get hit by a speeding train, her vampire canines suddenly unlock, putting an end to the disability that was preventing her from feeding on her own. As her parents cut her off in an attempt to force her to finally come into her own as a vampire, Paul decides to offer her his life. What started as an exchange in services unwittingly evolves into a search for identity, in which both new friends will fall under each other’s spell and shed a part of themselves to reconcile with their deepest nature.
