The film features an assortment of characters, star of Fk Partizan Zdravko Stevanovic, referred to as a Star, his trainer Gagi football-dealer Hadzi, "The Bench” gambling addict brother of Zdravko, gangster-manager Skare known as "Skare", small-time crook Deki Bmw, Italian girl and manager 2 CALE . They all meet up in the Derby between Fk Partizan and Fk Crvena Zvezda and after Derby, Zdravko and his friends realise that they are in the debt because of one odd bet.
