After the death of her mother, Julia (13) travels with her stepfather Ezequiel to the province of Jujuy, Argentina to see her grandfather Ceferino (70), her only living relative. When he refuses to take care of her, a storm floods the roads, leaving them trapped and forcing an unwanted coexistence. Julia will begin an apprenticeship linked to her roots, and together they will have to face a group of gangsters who seek to take over their land.
