Synopsis
After three long decades of impeccable service to the Water Company, the conscientious public servant and doting paterfamilias, Leonidas Chryssis, retires. With his pockets crammed with cash from his severance pay, Leonidas decides to tend to his needs, buys an expensive suede jacket, and off he goes to spend his vacation at his favourite summer destination, the Platystomo Spa, of course, without his supporting wife, Maro, and his teenage son, Apostolos. There, a chance encounter with Christina, the charming and refined spouse of his former colleague, Alekos, will set in motion a silent undercurrent of repressed emotions, as, more and more, Leonidas' shallow and unrealistic infatuation turns into something more profound. Now, the innocents must suffer, and Christina's home in cold, rainy Bern is so far away. Will Leonidas put everyone and everything at risk for something that resembles love?
