Bia is a woman who deals with, just like many other women, the difficulty to say "no" to heteronormative, misogynistic, and sexist practices from the population that surrounds them. As a Ph.D. student, she investigates the speech rights of the women in the peasant's protests, shown through the women with no farmland, who are real characters in the movie, through them, Bia searches for the strength to rupture the base structure of patriarchy, involving matters such as marriage, family and valuing these women's work and freedom. A fictional movie that logically discusses with reality and matters of our society. It's situated in many real moments, recorded in the Normandia camp from MST (Local peasant's protest) in Caruaru,Pernambuco, Brasil, in a mix of fiction and documentary.
