One morning Joel finds his wife’s dog Elvis half dead. This forces him out of home, something he has avoided for a long time. After forgetting his keys inside, he’ll spend the day desperately trying to get back into his flat, his shelter.

Joel wakes up one morning to find his dog Elvis half dead. Blocked by the situation, decides to abandon him in the forest. Upon returning home, he realizes he left the keys inside. The search for them makes him go to places he doesn't want to go. He doesn't want to go to his family - who he's been avoiding for a long time - and is when he tries to go back to his refuge, that he understands he's lost it forever.
