In the woods there lives a mouse and his friends, and they are always scared of getting eaten by the fox or other predators who can’t get food in a fair way. They have to make some laws so they all can live together in peace.

The forest of Huckybucky is a nice place to live. However, Claus Climbermouse, Morten Wood Mouse, Mister Hare and the Squirrel family have to watch out for certain neighbours with empty stomachs and big teeth. When Marvin the Fox and Horace the Hedgehog try to eat Morten and his grandma, the forest-dwellers decide to take action and pass a law for all the animals to stop eating each other. But how can they persuade Marvin and Horace that they should start eating nuts instead?
