When he was very young, Alberto Sordi was expelled from the Accademia di Recitazione dei Filodrammatici in Milan because of his incorrigible Roman dialect. But he does not give up and, back in Rome, with his tenacious commitment, he manages to become the voice of Oliver Hard and he gets noticed in the variety shows and on the radio. In those years he formed a great friendship with the young Federico Fellini, who would soon direct him in The White Sheik and I Vitelloni, he falls in love with the actress and dubbing Andreina Pagnani and reached the triumph with Nando Moriconi, An American in Rome.
