Synopsis

Sukh Sidhu spent 20 years in prison to protect a secret. Upon his release, he attempts to reconcile with his son, Dayton, who has developed a hatred for his father over time for abandoning him. Once a feared fighter, Sukh has developed a calmness throughout his incarceration.
As Sukh attempts to re-engage with is son, he discovers Dayton is dealing with the same racism he dealt with 20 years ago only with different players. In a small town, word gets around fast that Sukh is out of prison and the Sheriff, who lost his brother 20 years ago in the event that put Sukh in prison, has a chip on his shoulder and a score to settle with Sukh. As Sukh and the Sheriff butt heads, so does Dayton with the local racist boys. They decide to settle this at the annual boxing tournament held in their town. Sukh and Dayton grow closer together as Dayton accepts Sukh's invitation to train him for the tournament. In the end, sometime fighting is the only option.
