Baz (KEVIN BISHOP) is one of Britain’s new cycle cops.
Soon he will turn from cycle cop to psycho-path….
Alcoholic mother Bernice (FRANCES BARBER) keeps Baz in her unhealthy grasp, even soaping him in the bath. He’d like to forge a relationship with Val (HAYLEY-MARIE AXE), his cycle police buddy, but dare not walk out on crazy mum.
As riots break out in London, a head injury inflicted by a gang turns Baz into a vigilante: criminals are offered the choice of arrest or death. Starting with the gang leader who attacked him, Baz embarks on a reign of terror, in which the lack of protestations by criminals too stunned, confused, or drunk to argue when he asks, “May I kill you?” are taken as consent to be dispatched. All filmed on his helmet-cam.
Posting footage on social networks, Baz acquires thousands more fans with each killing, while masking his identity. The cycling bobby is now an all-powerful phenomenon dispensing justice to assorted lowlifes and scumbags, in his view for the greater good.
Soon Val finds herself suspecting Baz while Maya (KASIA KOLECZEK), a trafficked waif whom Baz brings home after rescuing, sends Bernice into a jealous spin.
In the climax, Maya shoots Val dead as she arrests Baz for murder, while Baz secretly strangles his mother having discovered her criminal record.
Moments later, Seth (JACK DOOLAN), a petty thief with low esteem, who wrongly believes that Baz has murdered his rich aunt, bursts into Baz’s home.
Following a police assault, Seth is convicted of murdering Val and Bernice, while Baz gets another knock on the head and promotion to firearms. From prison Seth becomes a somebody, proclaiming himself the ‘May I Kill U?’ killer and the media deals roll in
