Synopsis
In Pattaya, the vibrant city that never sleeps, Bo, a young gangster and debt collector working for Mama Wan, a local loan shark, leads his minions on regular rounds to collect interest. Despite his outwardly tough demeanor, Bo has a rather unconventional method when it comes to debt collection. Instead of resorting to violence against debtors, he picks up whatever's at hand and strikes himself on the head, instilling fear in them to prompt payment. While everyone thinks he is odd, he remains unfazed by others' opinions. All he's focused on is completing his tasks and earning enough to provide for his family. Any leftover money is typically spent on alcohol without much thought for the future. Bo lives day by day, without any grand plans or aspirations.
One day, Bo crosses paths with Im, a beautiful banker who bears the burden of paying interest on behalf of her sick father. She despises Bo from the get-go, while Bo falls in love with her at first sight. Despite Im's respectable job, her income barely covers her daily expenses. Struggling to make ends meet, Im grapples with finding extra funds to alleviate her father's financial woes. Feeling sympathy for her, Bo comes up with a dating contract to help her with the debt. According to the terms, Im will go on dates with him in exchange for him paying interest for her. Faced with little choice, Im reluctantly agrees to the arrangement.
Their dates start off with highs and lows. One is reluctant while the other is thrilled. However, spending more time together allows them to see each other for who they truly are. Im starts to open up to Bo, seeing past his tough exterior to his kind heart. Meanwhile, Bo himself begins to dream of something he has never dreamed of before: a life free from the cycle of debt.
The saying goes, "Once a debtor, always a debtor." But what happens when a debt collector falls in love with his debtor?
Will this love journey lead Bo and Im out of this relentless cycle, or will it only entangle them further?
