Konno (AYANO) meets his co-worker Hiasa (MATSUDA) when he was transferred by his company to Iwate, the north city near mountains in Japan. They bond over drinks, go fishing together, laugh over trivial things. The days when they spend together are like a delayed adolescence for Konno, who opens up his soul to Hiasa.Konno finds one day, however, that Hiasa has gone missing. It was after Hiasa abruptly quit the company without a word to Konno. The relationship between Konno and Hiasa gradually changed since then, though they drink and go fishing together time to time, and the two men go about their lives without seeing each other again.In his search to find his old friend, he learns of the "shadow face" of the man he once trusted more than anyone.So where is the "true" Hiasa, with whom he'd spent time under the sun?
