An ambitious young detective inspector, Alize (23), has only just returned from maternity leave when she is tasked with investigating the death of a young female rapper. Her boss thinks it is a drugs-related crime and asks her to close the case quickly. Alize has a feeling that there is more going on, but her colleagues and even her husband dismiss her concerns off-hand. When she finally succeeds in exposing the tragic, complex truth, she is taken off the case and finds herself skating on very thin ice with her superiors. In the end, she has to decide what is more important to her: the police force, which is like a family to her, or the truth.
