Synopsis

Perfect blend of "Eraserhead" and "The Woman in the WIndow". Dulce (late 20's), a semi-successful agoraphobic/schizophrenic painter has managed to make a nice living for herself, despite never leaving the house. Her isolated world, however, is rocked when a man in the neighborhood goes missing. Feeling helpless, Dulce paints a portrait of the man and signing it with her blood. When she wakes up the next day, the man is in her house. Lonely, in need of company, she doesn't kick him out. She talks to him, learning he isn’t human after all, but rather a manifestation of her painting. Dulce quickly realizes the man, Webster, has an infant mind-set. She teaches him to eat, talk, and cuddle. Everything is bliss for Dulce, until Webster paints his own imaginary friend, Mimi, with the same blood-tainted acrylic paint. But she isn't much of a friend. On the contrary, she has come to show Dulce what has been hiding deep inside her. As she slowly sucks the life from Dulce, Mimi becomes stronger, taking away Dulce’s security within her own home. Unable to escape the house because of her fear of the outside world, she is forced to endure the torture of Mimi until Webster comes to her defense. This leaves Webster battered and bruised, and at the mercy of Mimi, until she uncovers her deceitful plan. Which is to summon the powers of the Wyrd Sisters in the Otherworld.
