MARJORIE (Smith) is an aging violinist who finds that her memory is failing her. She hires a service that provides holographic recreations of deceased loved ones as their survivors would like them remembered, so she can spend time with her daughter TESS (Davis) and son-in-law JON (Robbins), and with an imperfect copy of her deceased husband, WALTER (Hamm), as he looked in his 30s and 40s.
